As time passed after the loss of our daughter, we realized how many families have experienced infant loss. There is such a need. We knew we had to do something to help others through this tragedy. After loss, people need encouragement, in whatever way that looks. Weeks, months, or even years later. That’s what we plan to do.
Seeing the amount of supporters for Local Mpact has meant so much to our family. We always say this is a club no one wants to be in, but the friendships we have made have helped us on our own grief journey. We are able to talk about our loss, and say Marleigh’s name without reservation. We love each other’s babies as our very own, and we celebrate the birth with each other in our own heartfelt way.
Us, along with our board members, strive to increase awareness and support for Local Mpact. We are proud to have Marleigh’s memory live on in a way that will help other families going through what we once did. Infant loss is hard. Extremely hard. But your story does not end there. We hope you can find comfort in knowing you are not alone, and we are willing to help - morning, noon, or night.
I'm a Jonesboro native and have been married to Garrett for 7 years now. We have two precious boys, Elijah and his big brother Myles who was born into Heaven. Local Mpact entered the picture quickly after our loss – simply knowing that there was someone else who had experienced a similar tragedy that was ready to listen & share their own story when we were ready was such a blessing in those very early days. We are grateful to have been surrounded by support & we are so proud to be a part of Local Mpact in hopes that other families going through the heartbreak of infant loss are able to say the same. We support Local Mpact in memory of Myles Henry.
I am an educator in NEA. My path crossed with the Propst family during my first year of education. Rebecca was pregnant with her first, Marleigh Sue Propst. Little did I know, that our first interactions when I was a Cheer Coach at Wynne would lead me to developing a wonderful friendship 10+ years later. Local Mpact’s mission deeply resonates with me. It offers me a meaningful way to support individuals and families within our community who endured profound grief of infant loss. While I haven’t personally experienced this heartbreaking loss, I am privileged to stand alongside a dear friend (Rebecca Propst) as she transforms her grief into a powerful mission. My service is dedicated to sweet, Marleigh Sue Propst.
I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Kevin, for 11 years. My greatest joy in life is being a mom to 4 beautiful babies. Eli is 10, Baker is 5, Emma is 1 and Asher who was born into heaven. I grew up in Jonesboro and graduated from Jonesboro High School. I love iced coffee from Shadrachs and long walks around Target. I enjoy talking to people and getting to know them better. Through Local Mpact’s ministry, I am able to do that! I can share my story and be a listening ear to other families enduring the tragedy of infant loss. We support Local Mpact in memory of Asher Dylan Bosze.

My name is DariAne Lewis. What a joy it is to see this program grow from the ground up! We are so excited to be a part of this organization and just to simply help breathe hope into these families hearts enduring such loss. My husband Trae and I were blessed to cross paths with Rebecca back in the fall of 2019. We had gone through fertility treatment after fertility treatment for 3 years to get us to our first pregnancy. I was 21 weeks pregnant when my water spontaneously broke with our son Onyx. Let me tell you, I didn’t know how bad I needed a Rebecca until I needed a Rebecca! She just simply understood. She helped us walk the walk of grief through all of its stages. It isn’t until you experience such a situation or know someone who has experienced something similar that you realize how needed these services are right here in our community. We were since then blessed with the sweetest rainbow baby boy Otto who is now 5 and just the light of our lives. As we decided to grow our family, we then endured another loss in the summer of 2022. After another 9 months we were so excited to find out we were expecting another rainbow baby girl who we welcomed in the fall of 2023 named Billie who is just the sweetest peach! We as a family are no strangers to loss and cannot wait to continue to watch localMpact grow and serve our community with so much love and support. We support local Mpact in memory of Onyx Ledger Lewis.
My name is Haley Hughes. I have lived in Jonesboro for the past four years and have been married to my husband, JJ, for two years. We enjoy attending concerts, sporting events, and making new friends. Our journey through loss has deeply shaped us, and connecting with other bereaved families became a meaningful part of our healing. I am honored to serve on this board in loving memory of our daughter, Rylee, and am passionate about sharing our story to remind other parents that they are not alone.
I’m from Jonesboro and am a music teacher! Me and my husband, Nathan, have been married for four years. We have a golden doodle named Stella! In September of 2023, our daughter Lucy was born very prematurely and spent 15 days at LeBonheur before ultimately passing away. We had always planned to adopt at some point, but the Lord started to put this more on our hearts after our loss. In May of this year, we adopted our sweet Nora! I am so thankful for Local Mpact and the love and support they have shown us. I am excited for the opportunity to be more involved and to share and honor Lucy as we help others impacted by loss. We support Local Mpact in memory of Lucy Grace Liouh.
